Hello, my name is Austin Ferrari.

I am a Lighting Designer based in Nashville, TN. I have spent the past few years designing shows as intimate as book club jazz, as expressive as arena hair metal, and everything in between.

I have always loved the world of lighting and would constantly get pulled back toward it among my many random childhood adventures and hobbies. I started early in my career running lighting for a local mobile DJ. I fell in love with the art form and, being the nerd I still am, fixated on the idea of what makes great lighting “great”. This Idea guided me into an amazing journey of ups, downs, and discovery that has placed me where I am today. Growing up in Southern Indiana, I had the opportunity to attend the University of Southern Indiana, where I received not only a degree in theatrical lighting design but invaluable experience working with the eclectic mix of artists and productions coming through the surrounding area. Using this experience, I combine my theatrical and touring concert design knowledge to create refreshing perspectives that are unique to every project I work with. Though the production world may seem hectic and messy at times, I will work with you on every step of your project from the first email to the final bow to make sure your show sees the light it deserves.
